Pointe Shoe Fittings
We believe that finding the perfect fitting pointe shoes is essential for a dancer's safety and dance career. An improper fit can cause injuries, restrict dancing, and be a danger in the studio.

We currently carry many of your favorite pointe accessories including toe pads, toe separators, pinky pads, toe tape, pointe powder, ribbons, elastics, sewing kits, mesh pointe bags, spray rosin, Jet Glue, and more. If you need a re-order of your current shoe, please stop in. We work with most of the top brands and can order the shoe you need!

It is our desire to bring professional pointe shoe fittings to the Black Hills region. We currently partner with Boulder Body Wear to offer virtual pointe shoe fittings throughout the year. Please contact us today for more information.
We also partner with Boulder Body Wear to bring an in-person annual pointe shoe fitting event to Black Hills dancers. This event is open to ALL dancers and studios in the region.

We can provide team warm ups, team leotards, performance earrings, tights, shoes, false eye lashes, and other accessories. We also carry skin-colored bras and leotards to be worn underneath costumes, as well as body glue to keep all those pieces in place. Worried about a slippery stage? Grab a bottle of spray rosin to keep your footing secure.
Need a competition duffel/changing station? We have some in stock and also take custom orders for Glam'r Gear bags. In fact, we are the ONLY Glam'r Gear Authorized Retailer in South Dakota and within a 380 mile radius!

Does your studio require a dress code? Black Hills Dance Boutique has all of your basic studio dress code essentials.

Dress codes help eliminate distractions, allow dancers to move properly, increase focus, improve confidence and create cohesiveness. This can help create a positive attitude and performance for all dancers.

Traveling Shoe Fittings - Let us come to you!
Is your studio located more than 75 miles from Rapid City? Black Hills Dance Boutique offers group ballet, jazz, and tap shoe fittings.

The most popular items customers get embroidered include competition/performance duffel name patches, bags, backpacks, and mesh pointe shoe bags.
